SONG OF THE DAY: Ace of Spades // Motörhead
I am not a metal head. Quite the contrary actually. I’m a diehard alternative/indie/ singer-songwriter girl at heart. But every once in a while we’re all allowed to do something or like something outside of our usual bubble of what is comfortable and familiar to us. And for some reason, I seem to have a fondness for this song. Maybe it’s the immense guitar riff, or the massive solo right smack dab in the middle. Or maybe it’s even Lemmy’s bombastic vocals. I don’t really know, but I’m not going to question it too hard. I’m just going to turn the volume up, head bang, and play air guitar like I actually know what I’m doing.
